    I marked the design with a cardboard circle I had. I drew 2 lines across the diameter ( like a plus sign). Lined the vertical line up with the center of the "valley" of the previous row. Lined the horizontal line up with the tops of the previous row and marked a half circle. Pretty easy.

    I big stitch quilt with no hoop or frame. Just have the quilt in my lap. I hand baste fairly close together.
