Well, I finally started quilting it. I am one of those rare quilters who really doesn't like the quilting to show on quits that are for me. So I am mainly stitching is some of the ditches. I have a long ways to go, but I have about 1/10 th of it done. All of the ones I have seen quilted had custom quilting that was beautiful, but one I want to keep, very little quilting will show. I am good at SITD, so it should look fine.

I'm with you on the wish to not let the quilting overwhelm the piecing. I think SITD is the best way to go with this quilt. A friend of mine made this pattern, and I seem to remember that she did that, too. Good luck with the process.

That really turned out pretty & thanks for taking us along on the piecing process. Can't wait to see it finished with the quilting. I'm glad you are keeping it for yourself as it's a real beauty.
