I made this quilt as a comfort quilt for my little brother's girlfriend when she was going through a hard time. She said she liked purple, green, white, and blue (she is 17). I wasn't too sure about that combination, but I have to admit that I really like the end result and I didn't really want to give it away!

I've done that before: made a quilt for someone and didn't want to give it away...I ended up keeping it and quickly making another one cuz it was a Christmas present lol. Great job on this quilt...I love how the colors worked out so well together.

Very nice color combo, however, it was your choice of fabrics in those colors that makes it work so beautifully.

I'm sure this beautiful quilt will bring her lots of comfort and happiness. 17 is a tough age....This will be one of her fondest memories of this tough time. How very nice of you to make this for her.
