This is the third quilt I've done, but the first that wasn't just big squares. :-) I did log cabin blocks for this. I will never do that again for a quilt this big (king size). lol
So the top is finished, now I just need to figure out my back fabric and how I'm going to find a space big enough to assemble all the layers. :-)
I also included a close up of the 2 fabrics I used, I hope it is clear enough for you to see.

    Thank you!
Sorry for the newbie questions, but what's a Bargello?

I like it!! My mom and I did a queen size log cabin for my daughter's MIL, and we LOVED doing that block for a large quilt. It went so fast. Once you have tried other more complex blocks, you will realize that the log cabin is fast and easy compared to others. It is still one of my favorites, even after 4 years of quilting.

Bargello is a strip pieced pattern that is relatively easy. Go to the top of the page to Search, type in Bargello, and you will see several, including a tutorial.
