I had the quilted blocks laying on a spare bed for 6 months. I just couldn't get at it. Until yesterday when I picked out fabrics from my stash to put the sashings and binding on. If I knew it would going to be finished so fast, I would have started to finish it months ago... I even stitched one of my mini-labels on the reverse side, which is done in browns. It feels so good to finally have this off the bed.. Are you like me... I have a hard time to start a UFO, but once I get at it, I finish it quickly. Next week, I think I'll do another..

That's really pretty. Feels so good to complete something, doesn't it? Not that I've completed anything in a long time, but I vaguely remember the feeling! :)

Love the purple. Why brown on the back? Must look like two completely different quilts.

Well, the truth is, is that I inherited this as a UFO last winter. The quilter friend of my friend passed away with many many UFO's. I didn't know her, but she had at least 40 projects. So my friend enlisted 10 of her friends to take one or two projects to finish. So, I didn't chose the colors, only the colors required to finish the project. The brown on the reverside, is very woodsy. I'll mostly show the purple side.
