    Default Purses galore

I've never made a purse before but my secret pal in April's swap wanted something made by me and likes black and white so I attempted a bucket purse. I made lots of mistakes, but learned a lot as well. Then last week a piece of purple/turquoise paisley print shot through with gold jumped into my arms and asked to be taken home. <sigh> I cut some up into charm squares and made another two, one finished except for the button and one half-done. This is an easy pattern that I found on Missouri Star Quilt Co. I can envision all kinds of variations I'm going to try. The half-done one is for me and I'll put a single strap on it.

Really nice. I have some of the paisley fabric. Can 't bring myself to cut it yet, waiting for the right inspiration, it is so beautiful.

I love the black and white one best, my daughter wants me to make her a bucket purse that is wider and shorter, I would love any tips you can share to make the project run smoothly.
