Default QOV Recipient

Several months ago, I shared this quilt Quilt of Valor. I rarely participate in the giving of my QOV's since I don't typically know recipients...I just know the individual name and war experience. I met this gentlemen early in the year once and was approached by the organization I make QOV for to consider making him one. Of course, I made him one. He was presented this in November. The organization sent me a picture of him of when he got home that evening. So sweet... I thought I'd share. This gentlemen was a pilot and was shot down twice in Vietnam.

Wonderful! You can see that he is deeply touched by this quilt and will treasure it always and I'm sure you will treasure the photo. Excellent!

Clearly he's honored to receive your gorgeous quilt.. I wonder if he realizes that the honor is really all yours? There's nothing better than to provide some sort of comfort to those that have so bravely served.
