Both quilts are really cute, like how you did the names and date. But--I want to see the quilt/wallhanging in the backqround too. :)

They are beautiful! I admire the second one with the rounded corners, that looks very nice. Good job!!

Beautiful! I really like your use of colors. You said they were fast...yet you hand quilted them. How many hours does it take for you to hand quilt one of these? I'm new to quilting and have machine quilted only one. I thought I'd hand quilt the next one to see what it's like and see if I prefer one method over another. I know it will vary from person to person based on skill, etc. but I'm just trying to get a feel for how long it might take me. Thanks for any tips you might have on hand quilting!

It took me about 8 hrs to hand quilt the second one since the strips were wider and about 10 hrs on the first one. I did the rounded corners after I finished quilting. I just got a saucer out of the cabinet and used my rotary cutter to cut around it. I hate doing the corners on binding so this is how I get out of it.LOL
