When my boys were little, i used to give them special ornaments for Christmas. Now that they have their own children, i thought of a new idea......a gift from their kids to them to hang on their trees.....you can quilt anything!!!

What a cute idea!! Are these real photos or are they photos transferred to fabric? Thanks for sharing the idea.

Those are actual pics! I just took fabric and sandwiched batting like a mini quilt. Put the photo centered in the middle. Placed 1 inch strips right sides down on the edge and sewed the strips right on the pic. Finger pressed the fabric towards the outer egde. Then trimmed each edge and zigzaged the edges.....super easy!!

I love this, I don't have time this year, but guess what each family is getting next year, Family christmas tree ornaments. the possibilities are endless........ Thank you so much.
