Quick projects for camping friends

I needed some quick-to-make gifts for friends who are just starting to camp in their RV. So I bought some panels and made some mats for playing cards on so the cards don't fly or slide across the table. I also made them for our daughter and another friend. As well, I made some mug rugs and a place mat for the couple. Nothing special but fun!

Those are great, where did you find the panel? I have been making a camping quilt too but I had to draw out all the things for applique. I'm not a applique person! So if you would share I would be extremely grateful.
