This is a great idea! It ties your label design to the quilt design beautifully. Thanks for sharing! I did one thing a little differently, because I didn't want the label to stand out as much, since it was a quilt for my daughter. Although if I was doing it for a charity quilt or selling it, my version does not have enough info. I scanned the backing fabric and then I used my computer's paint program to open the image file, "cut out " a square of it, and then "write" the words right over the fabric image in a contrasting and coordinating color. Worked great! You are right about how easy it is to print out. I really like EQ printable fabrics.

BuzzinBumble..
Yep...the sky is the limit for what you can do! I love your label! Another great suggestion. I had PaintShop pro for a long time, but not anymore. I have Adobe now...and I don't like it was well as my old program.

That BIG BOLD FONT was for the demo label to post in here. I would use a different font for a real label. Or.. you can put it in your own writing on plain paper... tape it INTO your frame., copy again...and then print. Then it's written in your own handwriting.

Also.. I cracked up when I read your signature line - "My Husband Lets Me Buy...etc". My hub and I got a good laugh over it. Very cute.

Felicia those are all such good ideas!
Glad I made you laugh....
I wanted to ask you about your charming avatar - I love yoyos and have never seen them done like that. Have you posted a topic with more pics of it? I looked briefly but couldn't find one. It's very pretty and unique!

Thanks! I had never made a yo-yo in my life, but now that I did.. I'm in love with them too! Yep...there's a link to my quilt groups "Paint Chip Challenge" and a few more photos of my project.

My new goal is yo-yo fueled (it may take me a few years), but I want to make a 4-5' Christmas tree wall hanging out of various sized yo-yo's... and embellish each center. I need my head examined. I'm definitely tilting towards the "mental illness" side of my signature....LOL
