    Quik Bricks and Stones Finished

As promised here is the pics of the finished quilt - was delivered this afternoon to the Mommy to be

The story behind this one is I bought the fabric kit a few years ago- didn't realize the pattern wasn't with it Members on the board saved me and found a place that sells the pattern so I could make it - which was perfect timing since I found out a friend was having a baby girl Name: Picture 001.jpg

Just did a basic quilting on it to kind of match the brick pattern from the front

Fabulous! I like your quilting; is that the elusive "Serpentine Stitch"?

I think it is the serpentine... LOL It is a set stitch on my machine and since I have such a terrible time going straight this one works perfect for me

    Thanks for all the compliments

I am making the same quilt for my first great grandchild (don't know if it is a boy or girl yet). Anyway the pattern I am using is called bricks and blocks. I have made many of these for friends. Such a fun pattern. Love your colors.

OOOOH!!!! Love love love this! It looks so thick and warm and inviting. Has this been washed, and is the backing a flannel? It looks so cozy-perfect for the little one. I especially like the Serpentine stitch-I use it all the time. Especially on the binding-it hides every imperfection.

Love the quilting. Gives me hope that I can do machine quilting on a quilt.
