Below are pics of a quilt that I made from a customer's vintage quilt blocks. The blocks were made in 1935 for her mother who retired as a school teacher upon her marriage. The blocks were made by families of her students with each block having an embroidered name of one of her fellow teachers. Each block measures 14" square, and the entire quilt measures 88" x 88".

Eddie, I love your quilts. I love seeing them, and I especially like how you complete the WIPs that other families have 'on their hands'. That's a special thing.

Eddie, I love how you give these vintage blocks a modern look. I have some blocks made by my MIL that I just might have to ask your opinion on. :)
