Or maybe I have the bad attitude. I promised a fund raiser quilt to the local animal shelter (our county has no pound and no budget for animal food at the volunteer stsffed shelter) when my DH got his lovely new orange tabby. Unfortunately, the very nice quilt I planned to give them, which had been nearly finished for about a year, I had already finished and given away, but I forgot about that. I raided my stash and found a FQ with kittens and got started. I have done major quilts with less time and toil. grumble....
DH suggested I show you where I was as of this morning, which is frustrated and annoyed. The kitten in question keeps trying to help me. Grumble again.

Your blocks are so bright and cheerful.
But if I was doing it, and was using the technique you are,
I would be pulling my hair out also. Just saying
I rather piece the whole quilt then quilt it or use the quilt each block as you go then put them together.

valleyquiltermo, I wanted the free flow for these kitties. Next time, it will be blocks again.
quilter68, our new Tiger, who is the reason we decided to make a fund raiser quilt, is curious about everything, very loving and playful. DH thought he was getting a cat to sit on his lap and be petted as he reads. HA! I am insisting that my desk and sewing table are off limits, but without a great deal of success.
