Okay, I'll play. Just finished a VERY PURPLE-Y Warm Wishes (lap sized) top, this evening. It was already on the cutting table, so decided to just throw the random blocks, on top of it. They aren't nearly as fancy as some of the others, I've seen . . . but at least y'all can see I actually do sew and not spend ALL of my time, reading the QB!

I have a number of blocks that I am especially fond of. The first is a Dresden variation that I designed (PPing). the outer edges are prairie points. I intend to make a whole quilt, but right now it is a UFO. The second is an applique block which I made as part of my granddaughter's wedding quilt. (she is 11, so there was no rush to complete this one.) The friendship star is a one block donation quilt made with scrappy squares. The last is one I call Pharoh's Phan. I saw this block in an antique quilt photo a friend took and played with the pattern until I liked it, but not enough to make a large quilt, so it became a wall hanging.

I dont quite ubderstand the phraze, "He's the artist in the family", it looks to me as though you are a beautiful quilt artist. Accept your creativity and bask in it. My favorite block is the turtle.
