I bring the little ones in ,the Car.Star stays out. My husband cut and assembled 1/2 sq. tri.s to my direction and I stained. Didn't varathane so I could restain as they fade

I just made patterns with squares and 1/2 TRI. Sqs. so they would be easy to cut, arranged them and glued and nailed[from behind] to plywood back Added sashing on outside edge

We used pine 2 X 4's and stained no varathane so I can restain as they fade with a craft brush

I'm another one that doesn't have a barn. Can you share your painting method? What type of paint, is there a poly layer over the painted parts? All your blocks are beautiful. I'd like to make one...maybe the carpenter bees and woodpeckers would leave it alone.

Those are great. I have a barn shaped storage building and privacy fencing. More things added to my bucket list, lol!

I don't have a barn quilt but I do sure like seeing them all across the country as we travel...
