    quilt bobo or not?

I made this quilt for a friend and after I had it quilted I seen that I should have put a white border first. Then the colored borders ...With the colored border hitting on the top edge of the bed to me it looks like it does not fit the bed, what do you think... I need to send a quilt to my friend for her wedding and hate to have to make another one..so I really need your thought on this..

I love it. I think it's gorgeous. (It's my favorite color.) And, I really like how the blue border frames the lovely center.

I think it is just fine as the color frames the bed.

We all do the second guessing ourselves. your quilt looks wonderful. Don't fret, it will be fine and appreciated. make a couple of throw pillows to go with it and they can be tossed/thrown in front of the bed pillows. solved!!

I actually like seeing the entire quilt on top of the bed like this! It looks natural with no boo boo in sight. Excellent quilt!

I like the blue framing the top of the bed - it keeps the eye on the quilt. You did a nice job.

A white first border would have made the chain squares look like they were unattached and just floating. Nope, you've done good using the blue border!
