Default A quilt of a different sort....for me

I have not been on here in a while...have had this done for over a week. The front started out to be a backing for another quilt. My daughter saw it and ask what it was for....I could tell she liked it. So I made it changed its designation from backing to quilt top.

Of course, I wanted a pieced backing for it, too. I started one thing and didn't like it. So just started something new and just used 8 ½ inch wide strips of fabric. I am thinking I like the back as much as the front.

And will have to admit, I did not really like it to begin with...at least not in the normal sense. But I thought it interesting.

I quilted it loosely...it will be a quilt to snuggle with when the house is cool.

That is part of what I have been doing...
