I love the simple pattern and the colors; I know that grand-baby will, too! Grandchildren are the most amazing creation!

Thanks!

I don't like to make a quilt for a baby with juvenille novelty fabric. I prefer to make a quilt they can keep and use for a very long time.

I used Fairy Frost, color Bubblegum, for the stars, and the background is a white with irridescent sparkle to it from Joanns. The picture really does not show the beautiful fabrics in the quilt.

BTW, I made the stars using the method in the book "Stars by Magic" which creates the stars using squares and rectangles, so no Y seams or set in blocks. So easy!

I'm making more quilts for her. I figure they need one for the beach, one for the floor at home, one for the car, one for travel, etc...... Too many wonderful choices to make quilts and I want to do them all! LOL!

What a magical quilt! I love the pattern! I'm working on a quilt for my granddaughter, too, for her high school graduation - she just turned 18 months so I think I might get it done on time!

What a pretty baby quilt. Perfect for wrapping up your new granddaughter.
You will love being a grandma, I know I do, I have 3 grandsons. My only child, my son, and my DDIL did a great job!

It's beautiful and I bet it is really beautiful in person - I love Fairy Frost.
