A lovely generous size quilt. I also like a largish "snuggle quilt" that I can pull up around my chin and have plenty around my feet and a good tuck in around the sides.

Perfect quilt for a loving husband who needs a bit more quilt size to be comfy. The pattern and your fabric choices are great. He has a good perspective. I also enjoy the verigated threads for quilting. They can add an interesting element to a quilt.

Manly, but beautiful! Very nice! If it's too small for him, I can give you my address.

Thanks for the nice comments. I wish I had taken a closeup picture of the fabrics. The brown is a moose print and the blue has trees and water, both in a watercolor style, muted and gorgeous. The red center square is a slightly striated fabric that reminds me of the red rocks of southern Utah, one of our favorite places. I think this quilt is an example that "manly" quilts are more a manner of appropriate selection of fabrics than the quilt pattern itself.
