I just finished this quilt. It is for my nephew and his bride. He grew up on the central California rivers, his parents own a white water rafting co. So after seeing Barnbums Kayak on the lake quilt, I got the idea to do "The River". I have always done fairly traditional quilts, so this one was a new style for me.

Wow, what a stunning success! You definitely took an idea and made it your own. They will love that quilt!

Barnbum will be proud, too, I bet.

Oh my gosh is that gorgeous. I could almost feel the water splashing on my face!! It's amazing. I chuckled when I saw you used what I used as a border on the back!! :-D Isn't that a great fabric?!

That quilt is truly an original--such creativity is displayed.

Wanna trade??? I guess that'd be hard since Rachel claimed mine and yours is a gift. And what a gift it is!!

    Bravo! Clap! Clap!! Clap!!!

Now I'm going to look at it again--love those circles that show up!!
