Your quilt is beautiful and definitely something to treasure. The thought that you want to save it to pass down to the next generation is such a wonderful thing. The quilt will be cherished, as it already is!

My 2 sisters and I slept under a S.Sue quilt when we were growing up. It is practically in tatters now, but I have it at my house now and hope to duplicate it as closely as possible. My oldest sister was born in 1926, me in '37, and my youngest sis in '44. A friend made my granddaughter one for her baby shower. I just love Sue.

Nice to hear you treasure that quilt. There have been many posts on the topic of people who aren't wild about gives of love. You and your Gram and Great Aunts are all treasures in my book!! :D

My 2 daughters received two quilts similar to this made by their great grandmother and an aunt.
Its a classic pattern.

It is a popular classic pattern. I believe its calles dutch doll pattern
