Finally I got to finish the quilt for my BFF today and I'm a happy gal now. Last week I had some issues with breaking thread while quilting (every 3 or 4 inches, YIKES), but I got the best advice ever on the live chat over and b/c of this help (THANK YOU, you know who you are :) ) I managed to turn a WIP into "done" instead of having another UFO.
    Thanks for looking,
    Anne

Your BFF is a lucky woman (assuming since the quilt is pink.) The quilt is beautiful.

Surely this will work out great! I LOVE the Moda "Pure" line, but same old story: Sew many fabrics, sew little time...
Thank you for your kind comment, I really appreciated it,
    Anne

@all: Thank you so much for your kind comments! A newbie needs every cheer available ;-).

My BFF brought a charm pack from her LSS to show me her favourite Basic Grey paper line in fabric. End of story, I bought another charm pack and some yardage and made a quilt for her.
Sq. size is 5", sashing is 2.5" and its kinda faux batik. Its one of the solids of this line called Grunge Basics - Sweetie, Blush 30150-72 Fabric by Basic Grey. Hope this helps.
