    Quilt for my Navy grandson

One of my grandsons has been in the navy for 16 years. He was coming home on leave this month so I made him a quilt to take back home with him. I actually made this one from a pattern…a free one I found on the internet. I FMQ it and it only took me 3 weeks from start to finish. This picture is of him and myself with his quilt. I think he really liked it.

OK. . Let's see, a Marine mom, mom of a daughter also in the Navy, and grandmother of another sailor! God bless ALL of them, and thank you on behalf of all of us for making him this beautiful quilt. I make quilts for Quilts of Valor. I wish I could make one for every one of our troops. We can't thank them enough. Yours is fantastic.
