A beautiful quilt! I bet your daughter was thrilled! An even more brilliant idea. I love all of the baby quilts I see, but have no babies to make them for. Now I can make them for future great-grandchildren. Oldest grandchild is 19, next oldest is 14, so hopefully I have plenty of time to make baby quilts! Thanks for a great idea.

Congratulations on becoming a Grandma, I have to tell you that it is such a gift to have a grandchild to spoil and then give back. Actually, those were my Mother's words whenever any of the grandkids came for an extended stay in the summer, or even on weekends; but she loved them all equally. My Dad used to say that his favorite grandchild was the one sitting in his lap, ever the diplomat.
