Thread: quilt for my sister finally done.. this is only the 2nd quilt I have made!!!

    I made this quilt for my sister for Christmas! This is only my second quilt!

    Your quilt is gorgeous!! :thumbup: I love the pattern you used & all of the pretty colors of fabric you put together!! I have made a few quilts using this pattern, it's a great one. Great work!!

    I have tried and tried and cannot get that free hand quilting to come out like yours. It's beautiful!

    That is a really beautiful piece and for just a 2nd quilt, it looks expertly done.

    When I made my second quilt, I was still using just straight stitching "in the ditch". I would never have tackled something as intricate as yours.

    Love the colors. The dark green/black (can't quite tell) really pops. Gives it almost a 3D effect
