Your little boy is just so cute!!!

And I love the quilt -- and I bet the teacher couldn't wait to show it off in the break room. Guess you know that now ALL his teachers will expect a quilt at the end of the year

Wonderful quilt. As a retired teacher, I can say thank you for all your hard work making the quilt, thank you for sharing your son with the teacher, and thank you to the teacher for her hard work and interest in the students.

and I say no, really, THANK YOU!!! We have been so fortunate to have some wonderful teachers along the way. I really admire the work they (and you) do with all the children, with such limited funds, and often some trying circumstances. And as far as I'm concerned, anyone who gave my child the gift of reading deserves a homemade quilt!!

this particular teacher has been teaching for 19 years and you'd think she was in her first year. Incredibly enthusiastice, LOVES HER KIDS (and they are HER kids when they are at school), and yet, she can be firm and no-nonsense. One of my favorite qualities she has is that she does not talk down to the children. She speaks to them, using everyday "big" words and treats them with respect and dignity.

Off my soapbox here - anyway, I did want to say that TEACHERS ARE THE BEST!!!!!
