TGood - I do most of my piecing on my 1980 Viking 990. The quilting was done on the HandiQuilter Fusion. I'm really looking forward to when I can move the Quilting frame to it's new home. I plan on setting up a few machines out there for things like FMQ and binding. I'm going to see how it will work using the Davis Vertical feed as a designated binding machine. The goal will be to take a quilt top out to the Long arm, and come back in with a completed quilt.

I gave my sewing room a good cleaning before doing the binding on this quilt - didn't want to pick up all kinds of dust/lint on the black. It was washed when complete and then immediately folded and put where the cats couldn't get to it. I think going forward I will try to avoid solid black binding - even with extra lighting - it was very hard to see to make sure the stitching stayed straight, as this is machine bound.
