Default Quilt retreat with my sister.

Every year my sister comes down and we spend the week together at the beach in her time-share condo. This year the time was especially needed as we lost our Mom back in February, so we needed some time together. Anyhow, this year we decided that we would have a quilting retreat at her condo. We didn't get to the actual beach at all but we visited 3 different quilt shops, I got a table runner cut out and I was able to help her make this quilt. It was something she had wanted to do for a long time and just never got around to it. It was great fun.

sorry to hear of your loss back in Feb. Great to have a sister that you can be so close with. Quilt is fabulous. Your mother would have been so proud.

Sorry for the loss of your mom. This was a time for healing for the both of you I am sure. What a lovely quilt, I love all the birds that are in the fabric. Thanks for sharing with us.
