    Default Quilt Sculptures

I am visiting my daughter in Memphis. They just moved here with her company, so we were exploring today. We were driving through downtown and I spied what looked like quilts in front of a building. It was a line of quilt sculptures made from cut-up metal signs. Here are a few pictures. Any city that has quilts in its downtown gets my approval.

Those are really cool. Interestingly, the "Sewing With Nancy" PBS show had a guest from Atlanta yesterday who makes wall art quilt block patterns from old metal and wood from old barns.

If I saw those from my car, while driving, I would be causing accidents everyday.
