PittsburghPam: I hear what you are going through-it stinks.. LOVE your quilts sometimes quilting/sewing is the best stress reliever there is.

I think the layoffs and bankruptcy is all over the place; sad for sure.

Beautiful quilt top so far. It will be gorgeous when you get it finished.

I've been there, ask a friend to make the appointment and get you to the doctor. You deserve it!

Wow, Pam! As always, you're doing a beautiful job. You never pick something simple. It's going to be a beautiful quilt.
It's nice to see one of your quilts again. I hope you'll finish it.
Jan and Cybra fan have given some great suggestions. Depression is a nasty bugger, and it can take over your life and make it unbearable. Worse - you can't get rid of it by yourself. I agree that the first step is to see your GP. There could be a relatively simple answer - vitamins, iron deficiency, even more exercise. Maybe your GP will suggest counseling. There are good alternatives that don't require drugs.
Please take the first step! Make an appointment with you doc. And Hang that gorgeous quilt up where you can see it!

Uncertainty, in my opinion, sucks. You have done absolutely beautiful work under awful circumstances. Jan has offered you a terrific deal (thanks Jan). How about it? We are all behind you!
