Did you end up eating at the Mexican Restaurant? ha! Which quilt won?/ Colors, maker, name of quilt, and location?? (I don't want much, huh?) - Thanks[/quote]

Oh yes, and was it ever good! Has been there since 1975 and it was very clean and extreemly good. My old MO map says that the population of Cabool is about 2,300 folks and they sure put on a great quilt show. Should have taken some pictures of the school buildings too, a very pretty area.

The winner has a quilt class once a month in Mountian Grove, am going to try and go, hope to learn lots, hard to teach an old dog new tricks  Info was in the booklet.

EVERYONE commented on the sheep quilt! It would be PERFECT for a baby quilt and different from the "usual" quilts.

Congratulations to the winner! I'm SOOOOOOOO glad I went - it makes me both motivated and QUITE envious. A lady told me AGAIN (this happens every show) that they might not have it anymore because the ladies are getting too old - oldest is 97! And alot of them are too old and tired or they pass away!. It sure has grown since the beginning!

Stichinwitch, YES I like them! Thank you for making my day! And my favorit is Log Cabin Eldon Coffman and Tweets Violet Baskerville and Sheep in Dreamland Francis Stringer and Handkerchief Donna Sutton and Dresden Plates Francis Stringer. Oh my, let's just say ALL of them are my favorites. Very talented people. Wish I could have met all the quilters. Wait, wait, Stichinwitch - thank you for posting pictures, but my house is not large enough for you to bring all the quilters to, at least not at one time. But if you want to bring one or two at a time please feel free to. Seriously, thank you for taking the time to post the pictures.
