I bought a lot of fabric, a new iron and a lot of thread. I saw lots of new gadgets and some drop dead gorgeous quilts. I didn't take my camera into the show though.

Oh my, those Euro steam irons looked great but had a hefty price tag-let us know how you like it! Looks like you had fun picking out all your goodies!

Looks like you did some great shopping! I really like that sea shell fabric. I'm sure the print on the orange next to it doesn't match the theme but that color creamy orange looks really good with it! :)

Good eye!! That Jinny Beyer print, the beige and orange on top of it plus the sea shell fabric and the solid blue green are going into a wall hanging. I'll post pictures when it's done. There's also fabric from a bridesmaid dress going in the wall hanging. The Jinny Beyer is the border.

I bought one a couple of years ago. I love it. Know another person that hates hers. One thing about mine is: it does not get as hot as my old iron....I have to switch to get interfacing to stick.

Good luck with your Euro. I to bought one in 2009 when I needed a new iron. On mine there was a no return clause that I should have thought twice about. Almost from the beginning the steam started leaking from around the fill port. Yes, you get extra rubber rings, but they only lasted about 2 minutes. So, the only way I could use this was to turn it off between pressings. It really generates lots of steam, but little heat. I replaced it with a Black and Decker that my DH picked up for 20 bucks at Wal-Mart. One day I will get another 'boiler' with the water in a tank that is separate from the iron.

I hope you have better luck than I did.

Wow, you found some great things. It is so much fun seeing all the new gadgets, fabrics, and patterns. There is a sewing/quilting festival later this month in my area so I have saved my birthday $$$ for those things that talk to me and insist on coming home with me.
