Beyond adorable! One of my most favorite childhood Christmas presents was a collection of hand sewn doll clothes from my great aunt. She had worked on them all year for me and my cousin the same age. Wish I still had them. ;-)

I agree. You made an adorable combo and I am sure the great niece is going to enjoy the gifts.

WONDERFUL!!!! i just bought bunk beds for my little ones' birthdays coming up in april & was hoping to find the time to make quilts for each bed. thought about the d9p and thought might be too busy, but yours is perfect!!. i found a pattern for suitcases i'd like to make for them and seeing yours is all the help i needed to decide to get going on that too. they ”travel" a lot between the daddy & moms' houses. i decided suitcases would be fun & perfect for them. especially after our last trip & their other grandmother brought a broken plastic laundry basket to top of apt stairs and dropped it at my feet. it had their toys & clothing (dirty mixed w clean) all thrown together. your suitcase is lovely and looks to be finished so perfectly. thank you so much for sharing with us!

Reminds me of times when my mom made me and my doll matching outfits. The suitcase and matching quilt are a really cool idea.

I would make a simple matching tote or drawstring bag with the suitcase and quilt for the dirty clothes.
