I love your combinations.....and they were scraps?


And the best part is you managed to pull it together out of your stash!
yep it came from scraps from my stash and from my friends stash. I also collected bits and pieces from quilt shop baskets of scraps.

This pattern actually called for a jelly roll!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :roll: so I took all my "reds" and ironed them and all the creams too. :roll: I then cut as many 2 1/2 inch strips as I could from the scrap. I had over 120 :shock: bits and pieces of 2 1/2 inch strips to equal the yardage of the 40 strips in a jelly roll. It was a lot more sewing to sew strips together. :? I had to be creative in mixing and matching darks and lights. 8) I did the same with the cream and whites to get the rectangles. It was fun to do!! With Dale as sick as he's been money is a challenge so the stash is a great place to start. It's free!!!!
