this is a quilt top only that my church quilt group will get together and tie. we will keep a few quilts in our pantry for people in need. if someone's house burns or they need help with food or householp things.
we have just started the group and some of us with experience have taken fabric home to make a few tops. we are only able to meet once a month so we figured we would tie the quilts and maybe later on we can quilt a few. not many of us know how but a few have expressed interest in learning.

i found this pattern right here, or a link to it. thanks to whoever posted thelink. it was fast and simple. but didn't it make a cute top?

That is so pretty! It's the same pattern as the "Sunny Day" and "Wild Thing" just with less strips in those squares. I really like it!!

What a beautiful idea. I might suggest to the ladies of my church, there are a group of us that clean and painted the whole church, we are awesome, we call ourselves the Holy Rollers, only because we painted the whole church inside. Believe me it is a big church especially when you start painting every room. But we love working for the Lord and being together. Thx for sharing.Beautiful quilt!

Nice color choices. What a thoughtful thing to have a quilt "on hand" just in case someone needs to feel loved.
