Once I had the Fast 2 Cut Storm at Sea Templates by Wendy Matheson, the storm at sea blocks became much easier for me to make! I did plan this one out on graph paper first to get the design. Choosing the fabrics for the values was a challenge - light and dark is pretty easy, but the mediums really give me pause sometimes :) I was really pleased with the effect of just using values on this one :)

Thanks! I'm not sure, but I often buy from Amazon. I would think they would have it. It's really great for that one long diamond shape, which I've found difficult to piece. I've also used the template in a number of other quilts that aren't Storm at Sea, just to get that diamond.

Thanks! If you paid me a fee, I'd just need to pass it down to all of the other quilters who've shared ideas with me :)

Thank you! I really did spend a lot of time saying to myself, "Now is this one dark or is it medium??"
