Most of you will probably remember this one made with the civil war fabrics. Well it is finally finished. I started hand quilting it just after I finished the top but it kept getting shoved aside for other projects. I decided last week that I would get it done! I kind of envisioned this as a utilitarian type quilt so just did a simple grid quilting on it, nothing fancy.

out of practice hand quilting. not so straight or consistent

Very nice!! lots of work. I did the straight line thing for a long time because I did not have much confidence. Now I am feeling like I can do more and I have done some curvy stuff. I like the grid pattern that shows on the back. You will enjoy this for many years.

I just love the prints and the grid type quilting just suits
this quilt perfectly! How nice to have it finished! :lol:

Great effort - it's a super feeling to have finished something that seems to have been hanging around for far too long. Do you have a new project in mind now?

I always have another project in mind!!! But I would like to get some of my stack of quilt tops quilted first. I have been practicing machine quilting to help this along, And I already have 4 projects in the works!!! I dont know if I will ever get caught up! :lol: :lol:
