Brandi,

One tutorial is here:

www.brandysquiltpatterns.com
Click on "Circle Magic" under "Free videos"

There is no separate pattern for the "flower" - the flower "emerges" from the folding of the circles.

I'll go ahead and upload my scrappy version, but be forewarned: photos are from my crapberry.

I like this idea. One of my grandaughters wanted the Cathedral Window pattern but when I found that pattern,,,,whew....that was going to take toooooo long.
This idea is great. One question though, how do you connect the centers once the four of them are sewn together? do you sew it by hand? Thanks.

I, too would be interested in a pictoral tut. It looks great. I'm more of a visual learner. Thank you.

This is similar to a pattern I had gotten from
Fons& Porter and flannel was used as a batting. Problem is that it was so thick, my machine balked at sewing the seams so now I have a pile of them with no way to sew them together. It was supposed to be sewn using an applique stitch but all I got was a big mess of stitches. I cannot recall the name of the pattern, but any help would be appreciated in sewing them together.

Thanks - I do have an old Singer but it is in such bad shape that I am hesitant to use it at all. True, it probably will be able to handle this as I had used it many years ago in making a denim purse for my daughter out of a pair of her old jeans and it went like butter. The wiring is frayed and I am leery of using, but I will try to find out what it would cost to fix it up. My two Janomes definitely cannot handle heavy duty sewing.
