A few years ago I found 3 ziplock bags with 225-350 small squares in them for about $2.00 each. One was all yellow squares, one beige/brown and one was lavender. I made 3 lap top quilts from them and they turned out great. Good luck with your quilting.

I've never heard of a brown bag quilt, what exactly is it?

I learned about it awhile ago when my friend's guild did it as a project. I just googled it for you and found the free pattern at ANGEL THINGS DESIGNS. Go to their home page and click on FREEBIES on the right side of the page. I don't know how to post a direct link here; maybe someone else will post it.
