Linda brought me two of these cute cat quilts that she had pieced from her collection of scraps. She likes lots of quilting so it took me a day or two to decide just what to quilt on them. The ears on the cats are 3D and the white behind the picket fence is also 3D. I finally decided on " curls" on the cats and diagonal lines on the fence.

I love this pattern and have made it all in homespuns. It ended up looking very old fasioned and homey. I quilted a cross hatch all over on mine to keep with the old timey look of all the homespuns. Your quilting on this more updated version looks great.

Great quilting. I'm making The Cat's Meow by South Seas for my mom for mother's day and I was wondering how I was going to quilt the cats. You just gave me the idea, thank you, thank you. Good thing she is out of town till the end of May, gives me more time to finish.
