    SEW very beautiful.
How sweet of you to offer a future family Christmas tradition of placing it under their Christmas tree.

Ok, I had to go finish another skirt that I had stored for 10 years lol. This is when the stain glass effect came in and I saw this lovely design in a book. I think everything was fused onto some sort of interfacing because when I took it out it was all together and I don't remember how it was done lol..it has the stiff interfacing, the batting and backing.

I remember ironing all the bias with the glue on to all the parts and then I realized that I had to sew all those black bias down both side and that's when I put it in the pin for later.

Well better late than never. All things happen for a reason. If I didn't give my NIL that other skirt, I wouldn't have pulled this one out and had I remembered how beautiful it was, maybe I would have finished it sooner.

I sewed for hours last night on the black bias and then went to bed. This morning I made the bias binding for the hole and the around the skirt bottom and put those on and I am soooo happy....
