The quilty things hide a million sins! To hang a towel rail in the bathroom, we had to reinforce the wall behind, on the landing with a plank. So, pf course, I made a wall hanging to cover the plank!

BTW - when i first read your post I thought you'd put 'subliminal massage'! I might resort to that if it gets me a new machine!

K..if you get your chosen machine I think you should bring in a real Thai girl to give him the full monty!!

Had to laugh about the plank....well maybe I will have a 'new' cottage built to look old..

You did a wonderful job! Much better than my plastic over the backporch windows. The windows make up the whole wall on the old converted porch. real cold and breezy in winter, just like yours....Hmmmmm...

    Get to it Susie! :D

Omak, kitty worked out pretty quickly to squeeze around the edge! I think he sees the advantages (no drafts)! out weigh the disdvantages - a BIT harder to get in and out! I did think of making a mini one just for his hatch but thought that was maybe a bit too silly - even for me!

What a great idea and a great quilt. I really like the fabrics you used....wish I had some of it. You did good.

That is just gorgious. I'm getting ready to make a hanger for my front door. Right now I have muslin on the back so thats what I see when I get home. That makes me want to get busy on it. You just gave me the
    inspiration to get busy. Thanks

Kitties are pretty resourceful ... mine is in the dog house right now because he jumped up and spilled my chai tea because he wanted to play with the straws!
I am so glad to see you do manage some self-control and do have your limits as to what you will and will not cover with a quilt!
