My neice is taking breast cancer treatments starting later this week. I made her this small throw to comfort her. Usually I make them close to three yards long, quilt them instead of tying the fringes.

What a beautiful fleece quilted blanket for your neice. This will be so cumfy for her to wrap and curl up under.

I prefer the blankets without the fringe edges as well.

This beautiful throw will certainly bring your niece comfort at she goes through her treatments, not only the feel of the throw itself, but the loving thoughts which will surround her.

That's gorgeous. Is it two thicknesses or one?

The throw is two layers thick and is fringed but the fringes are not tied as is normally done on two layer fleece throws.

Beautiful!! She's going to love it and take such comfort in knowing you made it just for her!

I have a big piece of pink fleece and don't know what to do with it. Sure wish I could quilt it like you did. Awesome job!

It looks so soft and cuddly. The quilting is great and she will feel the love when she wraps up in it.
