Quilted and on its way home
#33
So I received the quilt this afternoon and it is fabulous. I am already talking to Leesa about doing some more.
When I visited my best friend (of almost 20 years) I mentioned about doing her oldest granddaughter a quilt. When Lexi was born I was not really quilting much, mostly crochet and cross stitch. But her brother and baby sister had quilts, so Lexi needed on too.
We went shopping and we found the purple print fabric. I had seen the Ohio Rose applique pattern and thought that would be nice since she is born and bred in Ohio. And the Triple Irish was just such a great background for the blocks.
So now I have to get the binding on and send it off to Eileen. Her health is getting worse, so I wanted to make sure that she was well enough to physically give it to Lexie.
