quilted with white thread
Hi..
I didn't want to drive almost one hour to the quilt shop to get different thread, I posted and asked if white or off white would look ok.. most said yes but some said lavender, seeing I didn't have that color just white, I decided to just quilt it in the white.
I am getting pretty good at the swirl designs, so I tried to add a little to the design and did a flower in the swirl and echoed around the flower..I still have a lot to learn in FMQ some of my swirls are a little shaky....It turned out ok I think.. There is a white border and a purple border, I couldn't get that in the picture..Thanks everyone for your help
My granddaughter will love it, she picked the pattern and the fabric

Love it...would have never thought the colors would work, but that's what I love about seeing all the projects on here...Keeps one inspired and ready to think outside the box. Your quilting is really pretty. Thanks for sharing.

Love how it turned out! I think often we can make it work with what we have. Yes, there might be something "ideal" out there (e.g. lavender thread...), but it might not be within reach (too long a drive, quilting on a budget, etc., etc.), so one has to just go through what is there and make best use of it. That's what I usually do, and so far it generally works out fine. As it did in your case!
