Good for you. It is such a cute quilt. I am so glad that you have decided to join the other quilters. There are so many seasoned quilters here who will help you with what ever you need help with. I am very new, and so many have already been helpful and kind to me.

You are off to a great start so don't stop. It takes lots of practice and all the while, you will always be learning.

If you could have seen the first quilt I ever made, you would have no doubt you are a quilter. I think it is brave of you to post something that is your first, and you did a lovely job. Just keep on keeping on, and thanks for sharing with us.

Yours looks far better than my first one!! My first one was just a bunch of scrap squares sewn together, willy-nilly. Long as you have the " want-to", the "can-do" just naturally follows.
You have a cute quilt inspector, and that helps, too!!

Wonderful start!

We all started somewhere, so don't beat yourself up. Even the 'better' quilters will kick themselves when the screw up. Enjoy the process of learning and improving, it all will come.

Most of us had training wheels on our bikes, we didn't start out with riding hands free the first time. But eventually we got there.
