Marlys from Montana was in Kent, Ohio to bring her DD to KSU. I had met Marlys last year and What fun. She was here for 4 days this year before she was off and running and we took 3 days of field trips to 3 quilt shops, a shop hop that we only made it to 4 quilt shops, Lake Erie, and of course EATING. Here is picture of one quilt shop called Abigale's in Olmsted Falls, ohio. The quilting ladies are L-R Marlys, Peachrose (Vermilon), Bigsister63 (Kent), LoriJo (Monroe Falls). What fun we had. I hope Marlys bring her DD back next year. There is still so much more to see and do.

It's so wonderful to hear how new friends come together throught quilting. Three days of playing with at least one other quilter sounds wonderful.
Hope you all remember to thank her child for going to KSU.

I've been meaning to go to Abigale's. She's right down the road from me! Does she have a lot of stuff?

I thought so, it was definitely worth the trip. Lunch at the tea room was delish. They even had a gluten free cupcake! I don't usually eat dessert, but . . .

What a surprise to see my old hometown in pictures.
After 30+ years still miss it. Abigayles is a place to visit when I am there. Good ole Olmsted Falls.
