I have never done the one block wonder....are they hard and is adding the cube hard. Beautiful.

A OBW is one of the easiest blocks I've ever done. Only five seams total to make the block. The cutting and sewing into half hexagons goes very fast if you don't have interruptions. I haven't made any of the blocks, so don't know about that.

Not hard at all Dkm - see this link - you will see that the cubes are easy. Each "triangle" composes 3 parts, then the triangles are sewn together in strips integrated with the other blocks.
It's just about selecting light, medium and dark values and placing according to the instructions.

Do you have a picture of the fabric you started with. I wish everyone would post a picture of fabric before it is cut up....makes it even more fascinating how they come out.
