Thanks, suebee! I've been machine quilting almost 6 years. I can't get enough of it! I dream about something quilting at night and can't wait to get up in the mornings to put on the music and get doodling with my giant machine. I do my work freehand, with an occasional chalk line for a stem or an x where I need a flower to land. I do use some rulers and curved templates, but mostly I just doodle whatever the client or the quilt tells me to do!

Sweat shop, yes, PW! Maybe it has something to do with being perimenopausal... I'm with you - when a fabric is just too cute to cut, whip on a couple of borders, add a minkee backing and it's the perfect snuggle quilt. My LQS here in Heber Valley UT is Seasons of Home. The trunk show/open house is Mar 5th from 2 to 5 with some demos and door prizes. Should be fun! Thanks!
